The South Korean government is set to roll out a price ceiling system for apartment complexes built on privately-owned housing sites.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will announce the new measures on Monday following consultations between the government and ruling party.
The new system will target bubble-prone areas, especially in Seoul's Gangnam district.
There had been speculation the announcement could be delayed as the government is concentrated on devising countermeasures against Japan's trade curbs.
However, an ministry official explained the price ceiling system will be announced as scheduled.
