The Nairobi National museum is home to one of the world's largest collections of fossils, unrivalled in eastern Africa. Recently, the bone structure of a previously unknown prehistoric carnivore was rediscovered in the museum's storage, just one example of a long-forgotten discovery in this disorganised treasure trove of a museum.
