U.S. President Donald Trump is keeping the heat on the Federal Reserve to further cut interest rates.
He tweeted Wednesday that the problem America faces is not China but the Fed,... calling on the U.S. central bank to carry out bigger and faster rate cuts and immediately stop its (quote) "ridiculous quantitative tightening."
The tweets come on the heels of surprise rate cuts by Thailand, India and New Zealand on Wednesday.
President Trump has long criticized the Fed for acting too slowly and not slashing rates fast enough.
