Taylor Swift to Perform at 2019 MTV VMAs MTV made the announcement on social media on Wednesday. @vmas, via Instagram Swift is also nominated for 10 awards at this year's event. A few of her nominations include: Video of the year, song of the year and video for good for the tracks "Me!" and "You Need to Calm Down." The Video Music Awards will be hosted by Sebastian Maniscalco. The show will air live on Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. ET.
