There Are Few Places Left in America with a ‘Pristine’ Night Sky

The bright city lights in the United States are impeding stargazers’ views of the night sky. Researchers broke down the light pollution by county and found there are not many places left to see a “pristine” night sky. The study was led by Fabio Falchi of the Light Pollution Science and Technology Institute in Italy.
