to Direct 'Venom' Sequel.
'Venom 2' will see the return of Tom Hardy
as anti-hero Eddie Brock, the host of
the superpowered alien symbiote.
Despite bad reviews from critics, the 2018 movie took in over $850 million worldwide against
a budget of around $110 million.
Serkis is best known for his motion-capture performances in the 'Lord of the Rings' and
'Planet of the Apes' films.
Most recently, he has ventured into the world of directing with 2018's 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle.'.
According to 'Variety,' production is being aimed at starting this fall.
Rumors are now circulating the movie will drop
in October 2020, two years after 'Venom'
premiered in October 2018.
