On Friday in New York, R. Kelly pleaded not guilty to charges that he ran a criminal sex ring.
Kelly is charged with recruiting women and underage girls to have sex with him.
He is accused of isolating them and often controlling what they ate and when they went to the bathroom.
He scheduled to enter the plea at a 10:30 a.m. hearing before a federal judge.
He faces federal charges of racketeering and violations of a federal trafficking law.
