'Hobbs & Shaw' Scores $25 Million in Theaters Worldwide. The film has opened in over 50 markets worldwide before its August 2 premiere in the U.S. In a majority of the areas, the 'Fast and Furious' spinoff debuted in the number one spot. Some of those markets include Russia, Australia, Germany and the UK. 'Hobbs & Shaw,' which stars Dwayne Johnson Jason Statham and Idris Elba currently holds a 68% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. For audiences, the fast-paced action film has garnered a 91% score. Domestically, 'Hobbs & Shaw' is estimated to bring in around $65 million in its first weekend in theaters.
