RAF, firefighters scramble to prevent English dam collapse

British Royal Air Force (RAF) helicopters lower bags of aggregate into the damaged part of a reservoir dam wall on the verge of collapse, as firefighters pump out water. The Toddbrook Reservoir dam is feared to be on the verge of caving in following heavy rain, threatening the lives and homes of residents in the central English town of Whaley Bridge who have been evacuated.
