Sunil Gavaskar questioned the decision to keep Virat Kohli naturally as captain after India's defeat in the World Cup semi-final. Gavaskar says that the official meeting had to be done before Kohli was handed the captaincy again. Sanjay Manjrekar has supported Virat Kohli on this matter. Manjrekar has a tweet.

सुनील गावस्कर ने वर्ल्ड कप सेमीफाइनल में भारत की हार के बाद भी विराट कोहली को स्वाभाविक तौर पर कप्तान बनाए रखे जाने के फैसले पर सवाल खड़े किए थे. गावस्कर का कहना है कि कोहली को दोबारा कप्तानी सौंपे जाने से पहले आधिकारिक बैठक होनी चाहिए थी. इस मामले पर संजय मांजरेकर ने विराट कोहली का समर्थन किया है । मांजरेकर ने एक ट्वीट किया है ।
