A$AP Rocky Pleads Not Guilty in Sweden Assault Trial . The 30-year-old rapper was arrested for assault in Sweden nearly a month ago. His trial began on Tuesday, and he plead not guilty to beating up 19-year-old Mustafa Jafari. The rapper's mother, Renee Black, was also in attendance. Prosecutors allege that A$AP and two of his associates struck Jafari with a bottle after being knocked down. A$AP's attorney, Martin Persson, claims he has evidence that "no bottle" was involved. If the rapper is convicted, he will face up to two years in prison. He continues to maintain his innocence and insists he was acting in self-defense.
