Bangkok’s new underground train extension connects tourist sites in the Thai capital

Bangkok’s MRT train service opened five new stops on its Blue Line on July 29, 2019, giving passengers easy access to tourist attractions such as Chinatown, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha and the Grand Palace. The Blue Lines’ full extension will have 11 stops, with the remaining stops to start service in 2020.
