S. Korea's rival parties to vote on extra budget, deal with security issues

A much-needed breakthrough in the domestic political arena.
The floor leaders of South Korea's three main parties have agreed on the parliamentary agenda for July.
Starting today,... the National Assembly will convene the relevant standing committees to address issues of growing security concerns,... such as North Korea's recent missile launches.
Rival parties also agreed to hold a plenary session on Thursday,... to vote on the 5-point-7 billion U.S. dollar extra budget bill that's been stuck in limbo for over three months.
On the same day, lawmakers will also vote on resolutions condemning Tokyo's export curbs... and air intrusions by China and Russia.
This comes ten days after the June session ended with nothing passed.
