Leakage in water pipe results in waterlogging at Mumbai airport’s Terminal 2

Waterlogging was reported from terminal 2 of the Mumbai airport last night. According to Mumbai airport spokesperson, a leakage in water pipe resulted in waterlogging at the airport terminal. The leakage kept housekeeping staff busy and they were seen doing their best to drain water from the terminal. The air passengers waiting for their flights were seen avoiding the waterlogged area. Mumbai has been witnessing heavy rains since Saturday morning and the heavy downpour has affected traffic and train movement, along with cancellation of several flights.
