Trump Tells Republicans To Vote In Favor Of Funding The Federal Government
  • 5 years ago
President Donald Trump recently directed Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives. He said they should vote for a two-year deal to fund the federal government and extend the nation’s borrowing power. The agreement would avert a government default later this year but also add to rising budget deficits. According to Reuters, Trump said on Twitter the agreement would help the military and the vets. The deal extends the Treasury Department’s borrowing authority until July 31, 2021.
