Tokyo expected to pass revised rule for removing Seoul from its whitelist next Friday

Japan is expected to approve a revised rule for removing South Korea from its "whitelist" of countries that enjoy expedited procedures for export controls next Friday, August 2nd.
According to Japanese daily Yomiuri Shimbun on Friday, Tokyo plans to pass the revised rule at the Japanese Cabinet on that day.
If the revised rule passes, it'll go into effect 21 days after being approved.
