San Antonio Spurs as Coach Duncan will be an assistant coach under head coach Gregg Popovich. Duncan is the Spurs' all-time leader in points,
rebounds and blocked shots. He won five NBA titles and
two MVPs in his 19-year
career with San Antonio. Gregg Popovich, via statement Duncan retired from the NBA
three years ago, and his number, 21, has been retired by the Spurs. He was the No. 1 overall pick
of the 1997 NBA Draft. Former team intern Will Hardy
will also be taking on an
