Any attempt to seek ‘Taiwan independence’ is a dead end, says China

China’s Ministry of National Defence says any attempt to seek independence for Taiwan will only meet a dead end. A new white paper titled ‘China’s National Defence in the New Era’ also claimed the Chinese People’s Liberation Army will defeat anyone trying to split Taiwan from China and will safeguard national unity.
