Peaceful family time at a home in Taman Alam Megah, Shah Alam quickly turned into a nightmare as five men armed with parangs broke into their house at around 9.30pm on Monday.

The family members were forced into a room, where they are reportedly tied up.

The suspects left the home with jewelry worth up to RM15,000 based on a police report lodged by the victim.

No one was hurt in the incident.
