How A Nuclear Power Plant Is Helping To Save The American Crocodile
  • 5 years ago
73 crocodile hatchlings were rescued last week from the canals surrounding a nuclear power plant in South Florida.
According to Business Insider, the unlikely spot has become one of the top three habitats for crocodiles in the US.
In fact, it's now home to 25% of the 2,000 remaining crocodiles in the country.
Specialists affiliated with the plant have been monitoring and protecting the crocodiles in the canals since 1978.
