An asteroid was supposed to hit Earth in September — but astronomers can’t seem to find it

An asteroid which was expected to hit the Earth on 9 September 2019 might, not be on its way to Earth after all.
The European Space Agency ( ESA) has determined that Asteroid 2006 QV89 is not on a ‘collision course’ to Earth because the asteroid isn’t where it’s supposed to be if it were heading here.
