Narly half of the North Korean population reportedly suffered malnutrition from 2016 to 2018.
Radio Free Asia, citing an annual UN report, said just over 12 million North Koreans were undernourished during those years.
The report also showed the malnutrition rate in the country rose five percentage points from 2015 to 2017.
The report noted that only three countries had a higher proportion of malnourished citizens,... namely the Central African Republic, Zimbabwe and Haiti.
