Tyler Skaggs, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels, was found dead in a hotel room in Texas on Monday, reports the L.A. Southlake, TX police said in a statement that authorities received a call just after 2 p.m. of an unconscious man in a Hilton hotel room. “Officers arrived and found the male unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.” Skaggs and the Angels were in Texas for a series against the Rangers that was set to launch today.
