Tropical Storm Barry develops in Gulf, threatening more epic flooding in Louisiana

Tropical Storm Barry is approaching the Gulf Coast and is expected to land in Louisiana on Saturday.
Barry will be the first tropical storm to hit the U.S. this year, according to the National Weather Service.
States of emergency have been declared in New Orleans, St. Bernard, and St. Charles with mandatory evacuations for Jefferson Parish and Plaquemines Parish.
These regions will likely see heavy rainfall causing flash flooding, river flooding and storm surges throughout the weekend.
