Malampuzha is located eight km from Palakkad town. The dam was built in 1955 and the garden was renovated recentlly. The main attractions are the suspension bridge, the cable car ride and the fantasy park. There are several gardens including one cute Japanese garden. The Yakshi statue of Kanayi Kunhiraman is also reputed even though the nudity of the structure is not approved by the conservative society of Kerala.
കേരളത്തിലെ പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രമാണ് മലമ്പുഴ. മലമ്പുഴയിലെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണങ്ങൾ 1955-ൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച മലമ്പുഴ ഡാം, മലമ്പുഴ ഉദ്യാനം, റോപ് വേ, സ്നേക്ക് പാർക്ക്, റോക്ക് ഗാർഡൻ, മത്സ്യ ഉദ്യാനം (അക്വേറിയം), എന്നിവയാണ്. മലമ്പുഴ ഡാം നൂൽ പാലത്തിന് സമീപം കാനായി കുഞ്ഞിരാമൻ തീർത്ത യക്ഷി എന്ന വലിയ സിമന്റ് ശില്പം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ജലസേചന ശൃംഖലയാണ് മലമ്പുഴ ഡാമിനോട് സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള കനാൽ സംവിധാനം
