Baby quails turn out to be quite a handful after being rescued in Oregon

A flock of nesting baby quails in western Oregon were displaced after their nest was disturbed by farming.
Filmed on July 6, the video reveals the newly adopted chicks grouped together in the hands of their rescuer.
A couple found them after clearing a small part of the forest, they discovered that the nest was destroyed and their mother was not going to return to protect them.
They ended up adopting all of the chicks in the video and another six which weren't featured.
The filmer said: "We live in Oregon and discovered them after clearing a small section of forest.
"They began to scatter after the nest was destroyed, and we realized at that point the momma was not coming back.
"At first we thought there were seven, but we then found six more after thoroughly searching the area.
"My wife and I are avid animal lovers and it's always amazing when an opportunity presents itself to get closer to nature while having a positive impact.
"The mother's nest was nearly destroyed, and with little hope, she would return.
"My wife and I decided their safest bet was adoption, so she and I now have a son, two cats and 13 baby quails.
"They are all happy and healthy, and at this point, we can't stand the idea of getting rid of them.
"They have become family pets more than farm animals.
"They are eating well, and seem very happy in their new home.
"They've all grown rather fond of my wife as she spends a good portion of her day with them, and they love to be held and played with.
"We plan to keep them and continue to give them the best life we can provide."
