LWL - Goodwood Festival of Speed 2019 - Central Feature

This short follows the build of the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed central feature sculpture, by the Sussex sculptural metalwork firm Littlehampton Welding.
It covers the entire process from workshop fabrication to site installation, and offers a glimpse into how an amazing piece of this size is produced.
This years Central Feature celebrates the luxury British marque Aston Martin with the DBR1. 2019 is the 70th anniversary of the company’s very first race at Goodwood in 1949. It’s also the 60th anniversary of its historic win at the World Sportscar Championship in 1959 when Stirling Moss crossed the finish line a lap in front of the competition.
