Unlike most Colombian cyclists, 22-year-old Egan Bernal did not grow up training on roadbikes in the foothills of the Andes. Instead, young Bernal road mountain bikes on wooded trails where he perfected his balance, a training regimen he hopes will set him apart this year in the Tour de France 2019.
