美상무부, 베트남 거쳐 수출된 韓철강제품에 최대 456% 관세

The United States will impose duties of up to 456 percent on certain steel products that are made in South Korea or Taiwan …then sent to Vietnam for minor processing …and exported to the U.S.
The Commerce Department said Tuesday it had found that corrosion-resistant steel products and cold-rolled steel from Vietnam had originated in Korea or Taiwan …evading U.S. anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties.
The agency said imports of corrosion resistant steel and cold-rolled steel from Vietnam increased by 332 percent and 916 percent respectively between 2015, when the U.S. started imposing duties, and April 2019.
The inquiry was initiated at the request of U.S. domestic steel companies.
