From July tenth,... foreign visitors to South Korea will be able to go through automated immigration clearance when departing the country to reduce their waiting time.
The Ministry of Justice said the service will be available for short-term visitors above the age of 16 who have registered their face and fingerprints upon arrival to South Korea.
Those departing from airports at Incheon, Gimhae, Gimpo, Jeju, Daegu and the port of Busan will be able to use the service.
The ministry says the measure will help alleviate inconvenience for travelers and reduce congestion at immigration desks.
