राहुल गांधी अपना इस्तीफा देने की बात पर अड़े हुए है । कई नेताओं ने राहुल गांधी के प्रति समर्थन जताते हुए अपने पदों से इस्तीफा दे दिया है. युवा कांग्रेस और महिला कांग्रेस के कुछ पदाधिकारियों ने गांधी के समर्थन में इस्तीफा देने को लेकर हस्ताक्षर मुहिम भी शुरू की है. साथ ही इस्तीफों की संख्या कुल मिलाकर 150 पहुंच गई है ।
