Moon holds sideline summits with leaders of India and Indonesia

President Moon has asked for the Indian Prime Minister's support for Korean firms looking to clinch partnerships with India's arms industry.
During a meeting at the sidelines of the G20 summit in Osaka,.. the two leaders talked about regional security and expanding cooperation... and agreed to create "synergy by finding common ground" between Moon's New Southern Policy and New Delhi's Act East Policy.
Also on the same day,... in a meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo,... President Moon expressed hopes to strike a trade deal with the East Asian nation by November,... in time for Seoul's special ASEAN group summit.
Moon also said Seoul is an optimal partner in Indonesia's infrastructure and construction to which the President Widodo responded by saying that he appreciates Seoul's push to improve ties with the country.
