Testify Publicly Before
Congress on July 17 Just last month, Mueller said he
wouldn't speak anymore of his investigation
into 2016 election interference. But he will now do so after
being subpoenaed by the
House Judiciary Committee

on attempts by Russia to hinder the
presidential election. In statements last month, Mueller declined to charge the president with any obstruction crimes. But many Democrats and legal experts say
his findings lay the groundwork
for Congress to pursue them. Mueller's statements could be key for
many in Congress on possible future
impeachment proceedings. Currently, 77 members of the
Democratic-controlled House say they
support proceedings against Trump.
