McDonald's Quarter Pounder
Sales Are up 30% After
Shift to Fresh Beef It's been a year since the
fast-food giant made the
shift from frozen to fresh beef. Marion Gross, Senior VP, via 'USA Today' McDonald's executives say
the move was the most significant
change the restaurant has made
since offering All Day Breakfast in 2015. Other fast food chains such
as Wendy's, In-N-Out Burger
and Whataburger also use fresh beef. Chains such as Burger King
are beginning to offer
"meatless" burger options,
such as the Impossible Whopper. McDonald's currently
offers a Big Vegan TS in
restaurants in Germany. The company has no
immediate plans to roll out
a meatless option in the U.S.
