Charges against Zahid involves RM47 million, says MACC chief

MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said that the seven charges and the 33 to be read against former deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at the Shah Alam Sessions Court tomorrow, involved around RM47 million.

Zahid claimed trial to 7 bribery charges today, he allegedly committed the offences at the deputy prime minister's official residence at Seri Setia, Precinct 16, in Putrajaya between March 28, 2017 and March 2, 2018.

He is set to face further charges at the Shah Alam Sessions Court tomorrow.
