President Moon Jae-in will hold talks with the visiting Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, in Seoul TODAY as the two sides look to bolster their economic relations.
The presidential Blue House says President Moon and MBS, who's joined in Seoul by some 300 Saudi business leaders, are aiming to boost ties in construction, infrastructure as well as ICT and future industries.
Also on their agenda: finding ways to promote peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula.
The Saudi Crown Prince nicknamed "Mr. Everything" is one of the most influential figures of that country... the key decision maker on state affairs on behalf of his elderly father, King Salman.
The welcoming ceremony at Seoul's top office starts at 10-40 this morning,... which will then be followed by a number of meetings.
This marks the first trip to South Korea by an heir to the Saudi throne in 21 years.
After spending two days in Seoul meeting with government officials and business leaders, MBS will head to Japan to attend the G20 Summit in Osaka.
