Korea's finance minister says the government is considering an extension of its tax break on electric and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles.
At a meeting with auto industry representatives earlier today, Hong Nam-ki said he is looking to maintain the five percent discount on consumption taxes for eco-friendly cars.
The measures first went into effect in 2017, but is set to expire in December.
He said the government will unveil a set of measures next week, including tax incentives to help boost auto sales in the country.
