The 51-year-old singer has ended her almost two-decade long residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. During the final show, Dion reflected on her time in Las Vegas, saying it was full of “wonderful memories.” She went on to say that she never imagined she would be performing her residency for so long. Dion then paid tribute to her late husband René Angelil, thanking him for his support. She also debuted a new song, “Flying On My Own,” at the final show. Dion has performed 1,114 shows in Vegas and generated more than $700 million in ticket sales.
