So I've just Watched... Brightburn + Childs Play

Every week I take two films and review them. I am harsh at times, but that's only because I care. Plus I've worked in the industry for 20 years, so I've seen a lot of movies. I know the tropes. Good is not good enough anymore. When I criticise it is out of love for cinema and I will try to explain what I think is wrong with the movie in the hope that maybe someone will listen and spend a little more time getting the script right. Sometimes I am genuinely surprised and that's when I'm the happiest - when a movie does it's job well enough to make a grumpy sod like me happy.
