Trump Accuses 'Failing' New York Times Of 'Feeding False Stories' About Him To FBI

President Trump again slammed the New York Times on Friday.
President Trump has again gone after one of his favorite targets, the New York Times.
"Just revealed that the Failing and Desperate New York Times was feeding false stories about me, & those associated with me, to the FBI," Trump tweeted Friday without mentioning any specific stories. "This shows the kind of unprecedented hatred I have been putting up with for years with this Crooked newspaper. Is what they have done legal?"
Maggie Haberman, a White House correspondent for the Times, was quick to fire back.
"The morning after a pulled-back military strike on an adversary, the president is focused on a Fox News pickup of an absurd story about a reporter doing their job by talking to an agency about a story about an investigation *already underway*," Haberman tweeted.
"It's like how we fed a story to the White House and the Pentagon last night by (checks notes) seeking comment on what the administration was engaged in already," she continued in another tweet.
