Van Gogh's alleged suicide pistol sells for $182,000 at auction

The gun believed to have been used by the famous Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh to commit suicide in 1890, was auctioned off in Paris this week for about 182-thousand U.S. dollars.
An anonymous phone bidder paid almost three times the price experts had estimated they'd get for the rusted Lefaucheux revolver.
Van Gogh shot himself in the chest but failed to kill himself immediately and died two days later.
The gun was not found until the 1960s until it was discovered by a farmer and ended up in the possession of a woman whose child was the seller.
