President Moon Jae-in has announced his government's plans to help breathe life into the country's manufacturing sector.
Speaking during an event in Ansan,... south of the capital Seoul,... the president said the government will look to increase investment in the manufacturing sector to help it develop new growth engines and become more competitive and sustainable.
He also said he aims for Korea to reach the 40-thousand dollar mark for GDP per capita and become the fourth biggest exporter in the world by 2030,... from its current 6th place in the rankings.
