Hong Kong faces more protests against extradition law change

In a fresh display of defiance against a controversial extradition bill, thousands of protesters gathered outside Hong Kong’s legislature on June 12, 2019, as lawmakers prepared to resume debate on the measure. Some of the protesters had camped overnight at nearby Tamar Park before squaring off with police in riot gear and stopping traffic from reaching the Legislative Council building.
