Las fuerzas yemeníes han mejorado su poder militar tras sufrir más de cuatro años la agresión liderada por Arabia Saudí y sus aliados, con el aval de EE.UU.
Este mismo poder les ha permitido infligir amplias pérdidas a las filas de los agresores en las recientes semanas, desde que el movimiento popular yemení Ansarolá comenzó una operación contra 300 objetivos vitales en Arabia Saudí y en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU).
“Aconsejamos a Arabia Saudí y a los Emiratos Árabes Unidos que pongan fin a su agresión y ataques a nuestra nación, pues de lo contrario les hemos preparado grandes sorpresas que los obligarán a retirarse. Estas sorpresas no se harán esperar. Si atacáis nuestros aeropuertos, atacaremos los vuestros, si bombardeáis nuestra capital, atacaremos vuestras capitales”, amenazó Yahya Sari, portavoz del Ejército de Yemen.
En represalia por una ya larga ofensiva que ha acabado con la vida de miles de yemeníes, en su mayoría niños y mujeres, y causado la devastación en el país más pobre del mundo árabe, las fuerzas yemeníes han decidido llevar la guerra a suelo saudí e incluso a las fronteras de sus aliados regionales.
