The U.S. company Beyond Meat, which makes vegan burgers and sausages, is set to debut a plant-based "ground beef."
The new type of meat, made from a blend of peas, mung beans and rice proteins, …will hit the shelves at U.S. grocery chains including Whole Foods and Wegmans HEB …from next Monday.
