who says that he fainted while in a courtroom. He was then charged with various crimes, including espionage, which he was in court for. His downfall came just a year after taking office. During his year as president, Morsi received heavy criticism
for his economic decisions. He was also accused of letting Islamists take over politics
in the country. Eventually, mass protests led to Egypt's constitution being
shelved by the army. A temporary government was then installed before new elections were eventually held.
