Chinese President Xi Jinping to pay state visit to North Korea from June 20 to 21: Xinhua

Chinese President Xi Jinping is to pay a state visit to North Korea for two days starting on June 20th at the invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The announcement was made by Hu Zhaoming, spokesperson for the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, according to China's Xinhua News Agency.
Xinhua added that the visit comes not only on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Pyeongyang-Beijing ties,... but also as an effort to build on past successes to further advance their relation.
North Korean state media Korea Central TV also announced Xi's visit.
It's the first time the Chinese president will be visiting North Korea since he came into office in 2013,... and it's seen as a reciprocal visit to Kim's 4th trip to Beijing in January.
This will be the first time a Chinese leader visits Pyeongyang, since Hu Jintao's visit in 2005.
