Trump Calls Polls 'Fake' After New Poll Shows Top Democrats Beating Him In 2020

President Trump again slammed the media on Wednesday.

President Trump on Wednesday blasted "fake" polls. "The Fake News has never been more dishonest than it is today. Thank goodness we can fight back on Social Media. Their new weapon of choice is Fake Polling, sometimes referred to as Suppression Polls (they suppress the numbers)," Trump wrote in a series of tweets. "Had it in 2016, but this is worse. The Fake (Corrupt) News Media said they had a leak into polling done by my campaign which, by the way and despite the phony and never ending Witch Hunt, are the best numbers WE have ever had," the president continued. "They reported Fake numbers that they made up & don't even exist. WE WILL WIN AGAIN!"  While he did not cite a specific poll, Quinnipiac University did recently conduct one that indicates each of the top six contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination would beat Trump if the elections were held now.  Former Vice President Joe Biden bested the president 53 to 40 percent, while Senator Bernie Sanders did so at 51 to 42 percent. Senators Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren weren't far behind at 49 to 41 percent and 49 to 42 percent, respectively. Both Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana and Senator Cory Booker won with 47 to 42 percent.
