Rainy start to week, cooler highs 061019

Good morning. Rain clouds moved in overnight. South Korea's central and southern provinces are seeing heavy showers. Heavy rain advisories that were issued in some inland regions were lifted a couple of hours ago. It's forecast to rain all morning in the capital while the Chungcheong-do Provinces will see showers into this afternoon... possibly until Tuesday for the rest of the country.

Western regions will see more rain this time. The Jeolla-do Provinces will see 10 to 50 millimeters, while Seoul and Chungcheong-do Province will receive 5 to 30 millimeters of rainfall.

Along with showers and lots of cloud coverage, temperatures will be a lot cooler, with lows kicking off in the mid teens.

Highs will be in the low to mid twenties, Seoul at 24 degrees Celsius and Gyeongju at 21 degrees.

Sunshine returns on Tuesday along with warm temperatures, readings will gradually rise this week.
