In addition to this bridge, in Western Ukraine several more viaducts with a railway gauge are preserved: in particular, two more operating and one non-operating bridges near Vorokhta, two in the Ternopil region near Terebovlya, in the villages of Krovinka and Plebanovka, and two near Lavochny (Lviv region) .
The viaduct in Vorokhta was built at the request of the Austro-Hungarian government, according to which the Adriatic Sea was planned to be connected to the Black railway track.
The decision on construction was made in 1870, and construction began only in 1894.
Italian captive soldiers, as well as foreign and local volunteers, built the road and the viaduct.
The length is 200 meters, the width of the central arch is 25 meters, lined with huge stone blocks.
